I remember Ollie fondly from the early 1980s when he was very much involved with the GAA. He helped greatly in the revival of the Blarney GAA club back then. A wonderful character and friend always with a smile on his face. Sincere condolences to his family and friends. He will be sadly missed. Rest in peace.

Last met him when we were having lunch in "Johnny's "about three years ago shortly before my brother Finbarr died R.I. P. and we recalled Finbarr teaching Ollie to cycle up and down the Groves .
