My sincerest condolences to the Moore family on the passing of Oliver. I worked with Ollie in Superquinn Sutton and got to know him so well over the years. Ollie was such a quietly spoken gentleman and I always loved when I bumped into him after he retired and swapped stories and of course jokes. Oliver had one real passion and that was his family for which nothing was too much trouble. I'll always remember him. The Gentleman from Howth. Rip Oliver Moore. My friend.

Oliver was such a gent and always a pleasure to talk with. Howth is a lesser place without him.

What a most obliging man! Oliver was always ready to lend a hand to help in any way with our Church's needs. He was elected to be a member on the first Parish Pastoral Council Commitee in Howth and accepted graciously. He did a fine job and always gave his 100% best to any voluntary work undertaken. He is missed.

Rest in peace Oliver. You got me my first job in Superquinn Sutton and I am very grateful for that. My condolences to all the Moore family.

Sincere sympathies to Kay and Andrew and all the Moore family on the death of dear Oliver a true gentleman. We only became aware of his passing the day after the funeral .We of course would have liked to accompany the funeral cortège through Howth village. We remember with fondness the many conversations in our car while waiting for Andrew and Orla to arrive at Sutton station. We were so fond of Oliver and know he will be missed greatly by Kay,Andrew and all the family. May Oliver rest in peace.

I was sorry to learn that Oliver passed away, I knew him all my life as he lodged in my Grandmother's house in St. Lawrence's Terrace when he first came to Howth many years ago. My sincere condolences to his wife and family at this very tough time. Oliver was a very decent, kind and honest man. May he rest in Peace.

So sad to hear of the loss of Oliver, particularly at a time when we could not be present with Kay, Margaret, Sharon, Andrew and family to show our respects in the Church of the Assumption in Howth to which he was so committed.
