Mary and I attended many happy events down through the years, with Oliver most memorable was the London-Irish country music festival in Roundwood North London it brought people together from the 32 counties held on the first Sunday in July back in the 80s. He was inhis element, we would line up behind the the cork flag for the procession around the park. In recent years when visiting Dublin we would meet him regularly for a bite to eat and a few drinks, we encouraged him to the bloom flower show he didn't show much in flowers , but we met him after. Mary and I were in dublin on December 5th 22 had a great afternoon with him that was when we saw him last. Condences rto all his family
