My deepest sympathy to Mary & all the Clery family on Ollie’s departure to God’s Choir. All of us in Waterford Male Voice Choir loved him & always looked forward to his rendition of the Spanish Bullfighter in our social singsongs/ concert afterglows!!.
He was Waterford’s Toreador.
I also remember playing Factory League soccer against him in Ozier Park in the late 60’s. A great competitor & True Blue to the core.

He has left many a legacy but none more visible than the Pine Grove Alzheimer's Day Care Centre on Passage Road. A community project that he took a personal interest in and his contribution of the proceeds of The Mayors Ball was a significant boost to the financing of the facility. A proud day for him and all involved when President Mary Mc Aleese presided over the official opening.
