Oliver (Ollie) McDONNELL

Today we were forced to say goodbye to a man who was snatched away from us far too young.
Kind and caring, Ollie was the biggest and brightest addition to our family, a man who was liked by all he met and brought joy to anyone who was lucky enough to call him a friend. Always smiling, he never once refused the pleas of persistent children or stroppy teenagers who all fought for the attention of this gentle giant of a man.
Ollie, it's a pleasure for me to say that I knew you and that just a few short months ago you became an official member of our family and I hope you have as many happy memories of your short time here as we do of our time spent with you. It goes without saying that you will be dearly missed by all and it is only now that you are no longer here that we have to say goodbye. May you rest in peace xx

To the giant of a man we wish we had the chance to get to know better, but what we knew of you we loved, and truly enjoyed the time we were lucky enough to spend in your company, you will never be forgotten and will always hold a special place in our hearts

To our dearest friend Ollie. How can we say goodbye? All our lives have been turned upside down. You were one of the most caring,willing and wonderful person that anyone could have met. You were indeed a gentle giant. Why you ? You will never be replaced in our hearts or lives. We will miss you.

It saddens me to think that Senan will never get to know the great man that you were. Your light was extinguished way too soon. You will live on forever in our hearts. Lots of love.
