Our sincere condolences to all of Ollie's family. We had the pleasure of working with him on several Murphy Pipelines projects from the early 80s onwards. Always a huge smile and an entertaining tale to brighten up every encounter. A true larger than life character in every sense. May he rest in peace.

So sad to hear of Ollie's passing. Fond memories of the times working with Ollie on all the Murphy Projects over the years. He was an absolute gentleman and was loved and respected by all who had the pleasure of interacting with him from both a business and pleasure perspective. He was a great supporter of the Kingdom GFC in London over the years and was never far from Christy Kissane supporting their beloved Green & Gold.

It was a great shock to learn of the passing of our dear cousin Olliver.
Memories of our youthful exploits spent in Rathbeg and the many wonderful times we had as children full of youthful exuberance came flooding back.He often checked in to see how everyone was on his travels home to Kerry.It was always a great joy to meet and greet and reminisce about the neighbours and those in the lane Hollymount and Shinagh and he kept me informed about them all.Unfortuntely I was unable to attend the funeral but I will kneel and pray at the grave soon and ask the LORD to give him a great big bed in Heaven.Slan Olibhear ..go tuga Dia cunamh do Maire Anna Donacha agus Domhnail.Ni maith liom bhur mbris.

I remember when Oliver, Mary and the Kerry clan came to NY for my mother’s funeral - Eileen Ryan Power. It was very gracious of all to honor my mother, the last of her generation in America.
I had the opportunity to spend an afternoon with Oliver and we went to the Irish enclave in the Bronx. Oliver knew more about the Bronx, than I did - a lifetime New Yorker!
Upon entering the pub, the owner and everyone shouted out “Ollie” - it was like a TV show, everyone knew his name.
We were greatly moved by today’s Requiem Mass and offer our sincerest condolences. I will always remain grateful for that afternoon.
