I have very found memories of our Monday night swimming hour in St. Vincents pool when we would spend more time chatting and putting right all the troubles in the word than doing our lengths!

Just heard today (7thJuly) of the passing of Oliver. Such a lovely gentleman. I first met Maura and Oliver when I worked in Frank Gavin studios. My late Uncle Frank took their wedding photos as he did with all the Flanagan family. I loved meeting him and Maura at the shops. Pat also worked with Margaret in Mountjoy Garda station . You are all in our prayers and thoughts.

I always loved our chats together during our invigilating days with ATi over the past few years. I found Oliver to be a true gentleman with many a good interesting story to tell especially those from his days in the motor industry, a wonderful industry that I was also engaged in for many years.

Very very sorry and upset to hear of Oliver's sudden passing. Had met Oliver recently at Skerries Harbour. As usual he came over to say hello and chat. A lovely man who became a friend through bowling. Always interested and encouraging.
