To Stef, Francis & to Ollies extended family, sincere condolences to you on such an untimely departure, he will be missed & remembered by all who had the honour to have known him. i first met Ollie for an interview on the old kent road, long time ago now. I thought my Galway brogue might win me some favor, but no…he put me through the wringer, no free ride with Ollie in charge. I had the pleasure of working with Ollie on different occasions over the years. He was always the smartest guy in the room & certainly the most dignified under pressure, such a statesman regardless of the occasion. Ollie, you were a great leader & a fine Irishman, I am very proud to have known you. RIP brother.

Ollie, I’ll remember you for your life force, passion and dry humour, it got us through many struggles. You raced me to the top of every hill, and usually lost, but on the flats you had the better legs. The cigarettes we shared at the top of the climbs were healing. My uncle, my companion in cycling and photographer of me as a child - I’ll carry you with me in this life, in my heart. Your sense of humour stays with me. And your love of adventure and experience. That’s the message that remains - live, love, laugh.

What a shock it was to hear of Ollie’s sudden passing. He was taken away far too early.

I’ve only known Ollie for a short time compared to some but he’s had a massive impact and influence on me. His dry wit and sarcasm always made me laugh and he didn’t hold back on providing his opinion which gave us some great entertainment.

He was also a source of great knowledge when it came to technical queries which we all took advantage of, his mark was left on all aspects of the CBRE business and will remain there.

My deepest sympathies to all of his family and friends at this time.

He will be missed by all that we’re lucky to have known him.
