Dear Eoghan, Julia, Patrick, Sarah and all of Oonagh’s family,
I was lucky enough to know Oonagh in our formative years of secondary school, we were in the same class - G! Even then she was one of those rare people who are truly beautiful inside and out. She was immensely kind, always fun and up for a giggle but had everyone’s back.
I’m so so sorry she’s been taken from you all, mind each other and know she’ll always be with you with her huge gorgeous heart by your sides.

My deepest sympathy Judy and to all of Oonagh's family and friends. I was so saddened to hear of your loss and am thinking and praying for you all. May she Rest in Peace.

To Eoghan and Oonagh’s family,

I am saddened and shocked to hear of Oonagh’s passing. It was a real joy to have Oonagh on our part-time team late 90s/early 00s. She was a super team member and was always willing to share her experiences. She was more than happy to share with other CSPE teachers.

My wish for you all is that the memories, anecdotes, reminiscences and stories being shared about Oonagh are brining you some comfort and solace as you grieve and deal with your loss of such a lovely person. Her life has been snuffed out far too soon. With deepest sympathy and sincerest condolences.

Dear Eoghan, I have only heard the terrible news of Oonaghs passing, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of Oonagh, especially of our time in Essex, her support, kindness, love, friendship and laughter during that time is something I will always be thankful for. She was the most beautiful soul. My heart goes out to you, your children, Oonaghs parents, sisters and brother and all who knew and loved her. Rest in peace dear Oonagh.

Eoghan, I have just heard of the passing of Oonagh. I am so sad for you and your three children. It is utterly heartbreaking. I always remember you and Oonagh when I met you both in the St Pats days as the nicest couple. She was such a warm, friendly person with a wonderful smile. Heaven has gained an angel. Oonagh was in the first class I ever taught. I still remember her bright, bubbly smile and utter happiness. And it never faded. She stayed with me for LC Geography and we met as teachers a few times over the years. My heart is absolutely broken for you all.

My heart sank when I heard about Oonagh. She was a beautiful soul inside and out.

Oonagh was the type of person people gravitated towards and genuinely loved being around. She was the epitome of positivity and happiness. Her welcoming demeanor & her beautiful beaming smile was one of her defining features. She loved a joke & a giggle & whoever she was with was always happy to be around her. She filled every room with joy. She was the 1st friend I brought home in junior infants and we had many memories in Santa Sabina too where she was head girl. That'll tell you exactly how adored she was, a friend to everyone. Oonagh came on a few family holidays with us in Ireland & I've loads of memories in her family home in Carrick court.

Oonagh it was a privilege to have known you & be your friend.

Taken way too soon, may you rest in peace. Your memory and smile will last an eternity.
