I am heartbroken for the family of this beautiful young man. There's nothing I can say that will ease your pain. All I can say is I'm sorry for the rest of us, for we have lost the light from this beautiful soul. It means we all must work harder now to keep this world bright. To those who maybe can't understand how this could have happened? If I may, please let me share with you all, I have been to a place myself from which very few return. I think it has helped me to understand what brings us to that place and what perhaps wasn't there to keep us from returning. All I would ask is, if someone you know is suffering as I was and I assume Oran was, if you can't say something nice, comforting, non- judgemental, then say nothing. Leave, and stay away. I'm not being mean here, I'm saying, that person needs true compassion and empathy and above all no cruel or mocking judgement. And for God's sake let's rid our world of the stigma that has been placed on depression and mental health in general. We need more people speaking out and sharing there experience. That is why I'm posting this message on a public forum. I'm not a trained councilor or medical person but if anyone reading this message needs to talk about their struggle with depression, to someone that has been there, please know I am always ready to listen, day or night.

We don't want nor need any more angels round thrones until God himself calls them, we want and need our sons, daughters, mothers and fathers here with us still, my heart is broken for Oran's family and friends, please let's look out for each other and not be afraid to offer help or to ask for it, may God be good to you all and may Oran be at peace .

I am sorry I am only watching Oran's funeral mass now and I just wanted to add my condolences to all the many already put up, saying that it's impossible to even begin to convey how truly sad and sorry I am for the heart breaking pain and suffering you are all going through, Oran should still be here with you and trying to carry on without him physically is and has to be an endless nightmare, I am truly sorry for your enormous loss and I pray that Oran is at peace, I would also like to say "thank you " to the priest who celebrated the funeral but also highlighted the destruction that can spread as he said like a cancer, please reach out if you are in pain or in a dark place because life is precious and we all need help at some stage on this journey and it's not a weakness seeking that help, may God help all of you who feels Oran's loss, his family, friends, community and even the likes of me that didn't know him, Rest in peace Oran.

To all Orans family and friends, his parents brother s sister and grandparents , my heart really goes out to you all on your huge loss. Im on the same journey as you all literally 6 wks ahead of your beloved Oran, may the precious memories you all have of Oran help you through your immeasurable pain. Im. With you and feel your pain.
