My deepest condolences to Caroline, Damien and Nicola, and to my old friend Kevin, on the passing of dear Owen. I was away and not able to attend his funeral unfortunately. Owen was kindness and good humour and his goodness was inherited from his lovely parents, who I knew from growing up next to Brookfield Park in Saint Joseph’s Park. I never met Owen without having a great chat with him and I loved his great sense of humour. He brought fun and happiness to very many people. My thoughts and prayers to you all. Matt Cremin.

Work was done in a light hearted and upbeat manner,which is so important in a long- stay ward. He was so kind and gentle with the patients and brought a smile and a laugh to them as we worked. He touched may lives.
