We were so sorry to hear of the untimely loss of Owen, who we always loved catching up with at the races. He would always ask what we were backing in the next with his trademark smile and enthusiasm. He was a such a kind and friendly soul and will no doubt be very missed by James, Emily and all of the Lochrin family. You remain in our thoughts and prayers and may he rest in peace.
Dear Mark & Phil
It is with great sadness that we hear from Ann McNally Twoomey of Eoin’ passing.
At our brief meeting with him, at Sarah’ wedding, we found him charming and kind.
Loosing a child, however old they are, is a hard cross to bear but I believe you will do so with dignity and pride of such a lovely young man.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you both.

To James and all the Lochrin’s. I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of Owen. James, Emily and Sarah, your words and stories about Owen made me remember the good times I had with him. From having a good boogie at Hozier and the craic of getting into the VIP area, to having a drink in the bridge after a rugby game and definitely more encounters for a drink after the rugby games! You’ll be missed. Rest in peace.
So sad to hear of Owen's passing.
He was always such a positive and friendly person, back during our time in St. Mary's, and when I met him later life. My condolences to all his family.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the death of Owen. He was like the unofficial head boy of our class in St. Mary's, always taking the time to ask people how they were and conveying the "news" of Belmont Avenue. I'll always remember him as a gentle, smiling and polite young man.

Owen brought light, joy and cheerfulness with him everywhere he went. He loved people and community, making an effort to remember details about the lives and families of those around him, and asking about them in a thoughtful and generous way. A catchup with Owen would always include a quick report on all the people one cared about most, because Owen knew what was important in life to those he met and whose stories he listened to. No doubt this understanding and interest came from his love for his own family. For his devoted parents, who supported him through all of life’s inevitable challenges and shared in his triumphs. And for his talented siblings, whom he proudly cheered through all their endless accomplishments and who doubtless derived much of their strength from the loyal encouragement of their unique and wonderful brother. His loss is deeply felt, but he will be remembered with so much fondness by all who knew him. With love, hugs and heartfelt condolences to Phil, Mark, Emily, Sarah and James.
