Owen MULHALL

Owen Mulhall Snr passed away one month ago today. He would be so humbled by the many beautiful messages of condolences on this site for him.

He would have really appreciated all the messages from his golf colleagues, friends, and all others. Also, the kind words sent by the PGA to me, on this site, and online too, offering their sympathy to me, and Owen's children. All of the words spoken of him, would have really touched him so much. They certainly touched me.

As his wife, I know Owen suffered from covid isolation, which was too much for him to bear. He was not ready to go, but I know for sure, if he had one wish today, it would be that his 3 children, Sharon, David, and Owen Jnr would be well, for the rest of their lives. Nothing else. That is fact. He adored his children, and grandchildren Lena and Louis. He always wanted the best, for all of them.

Thank you to everyone who sent such wonderful condolences and wishes here, but please support his 3 children when they need support, as I will. I know he would want that more than anything else.

Rest in peace Owen, and I will never forget you. You were the love of my life, and your values, made you the special man you always were.

I was fortunate enough to have played golf with Owen. He was a very talented coach, he had a heart of gold, and a terrific sense of humour.

I knew Owen very well years ago, and had IRISH coffee & chats with him over the years. I always hoped he would recover fully.

It did not happen, and his isolation and loneliness during this covid was too hard for anyone to handle. You did a great job during that time. Sorry no one could do more for you during this time. I know Eileen tried very very hard, but her hands were tied.
