We are so saddened to hear the news of Owen's passing, may he rest in peace. He was such a wonderful person, kind, caring, generous and good fun. Our sincere sympathy to you Brenda, Owen, Siobhan and all the family, thinking of you and sending prayers at this sad and lonely time

It is with deep regret that I learned of the passing of Owen through talking to Brenda. He was a true gentleman and will always be remembered by me.
I worked under him in his agency from June 1974 to October 1979 as a young messenger boy and I had a wonderful time under his leadership
and support. The Friday evenings were great after work. We were all work colleagues and a team. So So long ago. Of all the bosses that I had down the years you Owen were the best. Fair play to Brenda for standing by you right to the end. May you rest in Peace. AMEN.

, I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of Owen. He was a true gentleman and will be missed greatly. I still have very fond memories of the 2007 Mizen to Malin Head Cycle which we all did. The pain faded quickly but the memories of Owens wit and banter are as strong as ever. May he rest in peace.

I will never forget the stories, the laughs, the kindness and the life lessons that Owen always tried to teach us when were growing up. He was an effervescent presence in any room. There are only a handful of people where you look back and acknowledge the impact they had on you and Owen was definitely one of them and for that I will always be grateful. So very sorry to hear of Owen's passing. He fought a long hard battle as only he could. He has always been part of my life, since I was in nappies (which he always liked to remind me). Sharing family holidays, weekends on the boat and working alongside him in OCOS. It is an end of an era. He always had a huge presence and will be very much missed by so many. I am sorry and saddened that I cannot be with you all on Friday as I will be out of the country but I will definitely be with you in spirit. Thinking of you all and sending big hugs your way.
