Packie was the kindest, most friendly, obliging, hardworking, selfless individuals I've had the pleasure to have known growing up in our town. Daily I would meet him around our town greeted with a smile, chat and that humor that made the day brighter. The imprint he made with his kindness and generosity with his time for others helping them, talking to them sharing laughter and stories will always be remembered fondly by so many who were lucky to have met or known him. Kinsale has lost another of its treasures a unique and special character will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
