Paddy Barry-Murphy

We only learnt yesterday that Paddy passed. Our hearfelt sympathy to Anne Claire Catherine and Der and to his grandchildren and to Sean and all his extended family. Paddy had such a ready smile and a quick wit.
May Paddy rest in peace.

I would like to pass on my deep condolences to you all on the passing of Paddy. I was never fortunate enough to meet the man, but given he raised Claire, who is appreciated by everyone who's lucky enough to know her, I know he must have been a great man. Grief and love are sisters, woven together from the beginning. It is not something to get over, but to get through, and when you do, love is what remains.

We were the Blow-Ins from the City and Paddy and Anne and the Lynchs made us feel so very welcome and helped with whatever we needed. It was such a lovely happy community.
