Ed, it is very rare that I ever go up or down a stairs empty handed. As a teenager back in the days of Hazley Godsil, Paddy told me that it was considered a wasted journey and it stuck with me. I am so sorry to hear about his passing. He was a great man. You, your Mum and the rest of the family are in our thoughts.

Ed, so sorry to hear about your dad. I only knew paddy for a few years, but in that short time l got to know him as a kind and caring man, and not afraid of a hard day's work. My sympathy to all the family at this sad time.

In business he was Instinctively courteous and fair. He was always up for the chat and a laugh. In our latter years I enjoyed our chats on the phone. He was so proud of all of you and rightly so..
