We have so many fond and great memories of Paddy from playing in the Pillar House, volunteering on the tidy towns, Glaslough musical society, fundraising for the village and Oakland centre and so so many more wonderful memories. Most special memory was the day Glaslough won the tidy towns in 1978 in Multyfarnham and the day Beautiful Glaslough was written which now has become Glaslough’s anthem. Rest in peace dear Paddy. You’ll always be in our hearts.

Paddy was a wonderful inspiration to us growing up and in later years especially through Glaslough tidy towns. His heart was rooted in Glaslough village and community and alway trying to improve it for not just for those of us that live here but for welcoming visitors to Glaslough.
