I was very saddened to hear of Paddy’s passing. He was a gentleman and a really talented actor and comedian. Although I never had the privilege of sharing the stage with him I always enjoyed his performances and our chats about theatre in general. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. I count myself lucky to have known him over the years, from the early days of Clare River Harriers, to all the chats ,craic and cups of coffee we had with him around the kitchen table every Sunday morning. He was a pure genius on stage and the amount of time that Paddy spent getting into character back stage always amazed me, but it was worth it, because he always managed to pull the house down! We'll miss you Paddy. Thanks for all the laughs & for being such a good friend to us down through the years. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dilís.
