Although I didn't know him I heard many lovely stories about him from my mother, his first cousin(Evelyn Maloney RIP) She had great time for him and I knew his face when I saw him on rip as I met him once when I was young. I just loved the smiling face of Paddy at Linnanes Bar. I would sit for an hour with him over a pint of Guinness and as we "talked".. I just saw the soul of a great character loved by all. RIP Paddy.

Our sincerest condolences to Nancy and Paddy's family. Paddy was a great neighbour to my two Uncles Batty and PJ in New Quay and we had some great craic and chats with him down through the years. Paddy was a skilled craftsman and remember him well working away on his boat. It was a privilege for us and our children to have known him. May his gentle soul now Rest In Peace.
