We met Paddy through my uncle, Michael. He came into our home and into our hearts. We hoped for more evenings of conversation and piano playing but are grateful for those we enjoyed. May he rest in peace.

I am so, so sad to hear of the death of Paddy Hussey.
I got to know Paddy through the Progressive Democrat organisation in Cork. That, indeed was a pleasure and a privilege. Paddy was keenly interested in politics, he had a lot to offer and contributed a great deal. As for Paddy, the person, he was a constant ray of light. He was warm, kind, friendly, intelligent, funny, serious and always in good form. Paddy has left a great legacy, he will never be forgotten by anyone, fortunate enough, to have known him.

Paddy was my uncle and he was a very special uncle to have!He was a total gent, he always made time for people always very friendly and chatty! He always asked about people ,had time for people and would show concern!He had a beautiful spirit and it shone through he was a lovely man and had a beautiful soul! He was always smiling happy and in good form he was always upbeat and lived life to the full! He had a big heart!He was good to us as a family and especially my sister and her kids we were all very fond of him! He had a great way about him and was a character!He worked hard in the taxi industry and knew all the taxi drivers his work colleagues!The taxis were his life, he knew everyone and everyone was fond of him he was very well liked,he was a people person! He was a very talented musician! He was very fond of his sister my late mother Mary!He was very good to his mother when she was dying and was fond of all his neighbours!We will all miss him an awful lot!
