Paddy Kelly

So sorry to hear of Paddy's passing. I worked with paddy for 23 years. He was my client, but it never seemed like it: support and friendship are what marked my relationship with him.

I saw from one of Paddy's social media posts that he had recently lost his beloved Betty. I could never imagine one without the other.

He's with her again, now, which I hope brings some comfort to Martina, Paddy Jnr, his grandchildren and all other members of the extended family.

A genuine one-off, he will be greatly missed

I can honestly say that Paddy was one of the nicest people I ever had the privilege of knowing.

The only consolation is that he is back beside Betty again. May they both rest in eternal peace.

Very sorry to hear of Paddy's passing so soon after Betty and only a couple of weeks since the cinema ball. I worked with Paddy for many years at United International Pictures. Such a lovely supportive man. Very sorry for yours and our loss. A great man. RIP Paddy. Xx

I have wonderful memories of working with him sometimes travelling to London to watch films together, meeting socially and on the golf course. He will be missed but never forgotten by all who knew him. Unfortunately, I cannot attend the funeral as I am travelling abroad and unable to return home in time. I got to know Paddy when I worked for UIP (UK) and had the real privilege of travelling to Dublin for many a premiere or press junket, and also when he came into London. What special memories I have of that time and of Paddy, who was always so charming, supportive, professional and handled most things with an amused sparkle in his eyes. I also met the lovely Betty on several social occasions, and what a lovely couple and great company they were too. The film industry has changed and will likely never see the likes of Paddy again, but that's mostly because he was unique and down to earth in an industry that is often superficial and superfluous. RIP Paddy. Now fly on, fly on, past the speed of sound

Martina and Paddy, i am so sorry and sad to hear of your fathers passing, i was away on holiday when your dear mother passed away a short while ago, i will be in attendance on friday at Paddys removal. Being a whitehall man i like many others new paddy so well, especially through his involvement with st kevins and then of course whitehall rangers. Paddy was a gentleman with an infectious smile and laugh, i had many great times with him through football and then through Golf, may he rest in heavenly peace.
