Deepest condolences to Patricia and the whole family, Paddy was unique,he could be funny, sometimes, serious and incredibly wise, wishing him well for the next part of his journey, to Paddy, until we all meet again x
To the Macaulay family.
Very sad to here of the sudden passing of Paddy. I have great childhood memories of paddy and Henry working at the Monahan’s Coalyard Kilmacud back in the day. Classic memories.
May you rest in peace Paddy MaCaulay 🕯️🕯️🕯️
I only heard of Paddys passing today and was very sad to hear. Paddy was a very decent business man and father. I found him to be always fair and would always give younger entrepreneurs a chance. Thinking of all the family.
Both my wife and I had the privilege of knowing Paddy — my wife through her previous job, where she'd often say, "I was chatting with Paddy today — the conspiracy theories were great; he’s just crazy!"

Then Paddy entered my life through the Ashford CFR, and wow — what an impact that man made. He could fill a room the moment he walked in, with his big, friendly personality and his endless stories that kept us laughing, even during the hardest times.

People were naturally drawn to him, eager to share their stories. He bonded with the team effortlessly and quickly became one of its key members.

It was truly an honour and a privilege to have known Paddy — not only as part of the CFR team, but also as a friend.

Your space will be held for you, never filled. You will be deeply missed and forever honoured. Your legacy will live on in all of us who had the pleasure of knowing you.

Phil
I had the pleasure of meeting Paddy on many occasions through work. I was always sure to book out a good hour if calling in as we chatted about all the world’s problems.
A great character and business man.
RIP Paddy
Paddy, what can I say? An absolute legend, a gentleman, and one of the most interesting and hilarious people I have ever known. Paddy, you're up there lighting the skies above on the next part of the big cosmic adventure. I wish you the best, my friend, and look forward to seeing you again someday on the other side of the veil. Until then, you will always be in my thoughts and prayers. To your family, your children & loved ones, my deepest condolences.

Love Helena, Dúalta, and Iosa x
Condolences to all the Macaulays. Paddy was a huge personality, a true entrepreneur yet put his family as his number one priority. Heartbroken that he is gone but hoping he's reunited with that blue Capri.
My wife Ann always spoke of Paddy's regular visits to the Lifeboat Shop in Wicklow and how he would automatically make very generous donations to the R.N.L.I.she always said he was an extremely nice man. R.I.P. Paddy!
Patricia and family, so sorry to hear of your loss. Thoughts and prayers with you. Carole Connolly & Family, Goatstown, Naas
Patricia and all the family. It was a massive shock to hear of Paddy passing away. He had such a huge personality, was so thoughtful and had such a kind and generous Soul. When someone like Paddy passes away, it hits a lot of people very hard. He touched so many people during his life and has left us all with such wonderful memories. When our children were younger and they would hear the rev of Paddy's Motorbike pulling up outside the house, they would all jump out of bed and come down hoping that we would not send them to bed, but we couldn't deprive them of such a fantastic character and story teller. He would have the whole house laughing and when he left, you would feel like a huge ball of energy had just visited you and no mater what your mood was before he arrived, he always left you feeling good. I know you will all miss him so much. You are an amazing family and it is so nice that you are all so very close and that you will be there for each other during this very difficult time. He has left each of you with wonderful memories of your time together, remember this when you are feeling sad. We are thinking of you all and will never forget your Wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather and our Friend.... Paddy.
My sincere and deepest condolences to Paddy's family, friends and colleagues. A true gentleman.

Paddy has been a massive person in my life for the past four years. He’s been my mentor, cheerleader, consistent support and most importantly, my friend.

Paddy used to ask me all the time how I describe him to other people. Every time I would say “you’re crazy in the best of ways, and the kindest, most generous man I know”. Now he’ll always know how I’ll forever describe him.

I feel so blessed to have had the privilege of seeing Paddy every day, and working so closely along side him. I will never forget the day Paddy took myself and Ciara down to the river at Hunters Hotel. The three of us stood there for the guts of an hour talking about life and sharing stories with one another. I really can’t thank Paddy enough for the energy he brought to my life and the incredible, fun memories I have with him. It will never ever be the same without you. I’ll miss you so so so much. See you in the next life ❤️

Sincere condolences to Paddy’s wife Patricia and his children on your loss of an extraordinary kind and generous man. May He Rest In Eternal Peace.
To Patricia and all the family, you have my heartfelt condolences on Paddys passing.

To say Paddy was a unique individual just wasnt special enough. He truley was the most amazing person i have ever met. His way of looking at the world with total empathy has made such a great impact on us all in Ashford CFR, it will be carried forward for many years to come in his memory.

His gift was people. He had this magic about him, that allowed him to reach people and they would have no choice but to like him and tell him their story. He didnt understand why someone would not help another if you had the capabilities to do so.

His many amazing tales from his adventures over the years had us in constant laughter and disbelief at the imagination of this amazing man.

It was our honour and privilege to know you.

Your spot will always be there for you, forever honoured.

Rest in peace our dear friend.
My deepest condolences to all paddy’s family. Our little village has lost a true friend, he will be deeply missed.
