I had a super chat with Paddy a couple of months ago when we reminisced and laughed about his time as caretaker in St Michael’s School…he had a quirky sense of humour and I smile when I think of how easy he could fool me. He always spoke so highly about Maria and was so proud of Lee…he loved you both so much and the icing on the cake was when he became a grandad….I was so sad when I heard he had passed and my heart goes out to Maria Lee and his siblings,…A good kind sensitive man much loved and respected by many ..my thoughts and prayers are with you to find the strength to deal with his passing Rest in Peace Paddy. Paddy. He was valued member of St. Michael’s House Grosvenor School staff, when I worked with him there many years ago. He was a kind, generous and talented man. He will be missed. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

I am so sorry for your loss. Paddy was a lovely man who was very understanding and compassionate especially as I have young family members who struggle with their mental health. Paddy never judged just understood and made things that bit easier when called on for repairs and maintenance. He will be missed and remembered fondly by many.

Paddy spent a lot of time in our house over the years doing work. We welcomed him into our home with opened arms & always looked forward to hearing his tales. He brought plenty of laughter with him over many cups of tea and biscuits. There is no doubt that on many of occasion our cars passed the NCT due to his handy work.

Paddy was a very kind hearted person with enormous generosity.
He had great time and patience when my child was younger, always letting him help with jobs and forever throwing him a few euro.
He spoke so often about “paddy mulligan” that people began to ask me who he was.

Paddy spoke often about his adored Maria, and so so proudly of his son Lee. We are truly heartbroken at your loss.

Rest in Peace Paddy, a true gentleman. ❤️

Marie, Lee and family, its hard to put into words how sorry I am to hear of Paddys passing. Paddy was a precious member of our fantastic Grosvenor Road school community. His generosity of spirit was experienced by so many of us in his quiet and unassuming acts of kindness to anyone who needed a hand, especially with car malfunction! He would willingly drive groups of students and staff at the drop of a hat, knowing that it benefitted our dear students. His intelligence shone through in his super quick witty remarks. And he regaled us with tales that got taller in the telling, and ended with a mischievous glint in his eyes. Paddy, gone too soon. May the love you shared with your dear family bring them consolation. And may you rest in perfect peace. Aine

He was the go to man for car advice & saved me many times like the time I put diesel in my petrol engine! He’ll be sadly missed by all of us. Rest in peace Paddy xx
