Paddy O'Donoghue

Just heard about Paddy. We didn't meet for years but I worked with him in KCC back in the late seventies. A gentleman, very good , positive and helpful to me at the time. A great character and Kerryman. My sympathy to his wife Brenda, family and friends. RIP.

Paddy, so sad to see you go. Keep one eye on us down here and the other of course watching Kerry win.

I am saddened by the recent knowledge of the untimely death of Paddy. Paddy drew up the plans for my house here in Kenmare back in the mid eighties. He was so thorough at his work..My sincere condolence to his wife and family. May his soul rest in peace.

Your poor Dad, such a kind soul, may he rest in peace. I remember my summer holidays in your house as a child, following Brenda everywhere, Paddy was always busy but so kind and funny too. Following Brenda too! He would do anything for her. The last time I spoke with Paddy I hadn’t a clue what he was talking about as he spoke a bit too quickly for me - later I was told it was about his beloved turf! Paddy would do anything for you and every Christmas, no matter how bad the weather, he came to Wexford with holly for Christmas. Paddy, as you know, we will all be taking care of Brenda. RIP

Sorry for your troubles, especially Denise and Sebastian who we know well and like as much. Your father and grandfather was a brilliant man and I’m sure is well rewarded after an unexpected ride to heaven. God Bless You all
