Paddy (Pat) BARRY

Mary, Michael, John and all the Barry family, I’m so sorry for your loss.

I’ve so many good memories of Paddy as my boss in Ddfh&b; smart, kind, funny and someone who always looked for the good in people. He was a superb listener with such a sharp mind that cut right to the heart of the matter, but he always managed to deliver it with such kindness that he really brought out the best in everyone. He made us all better and I’m so grateful for having known him.

He truly was the best of us. May he rest in peace.

Deepest condolences Larry

I’ve known Paddy for forty years, since he joined Irish Marketing Surveys as a qualitative researcher, and a good researcher he was too. Paddy was a very smart guy, well read, with a sound analytical brain, and a good writer as well. He could be tough if he needed to be but at heart he was a gentle and kindly soul, the soundest of men. Though lately we only met a couple of times a year, I count him as a good friend. I’ll miss him, as I know will many others. Take a well-earned rest Paddy.
