It was with emense sadness to me when i learnt of paddys passing.
I brought my children to his Christmas Garden for 23yrs and a lollypop / chat and friendly smile was what you would receive.

So sorry to hear of Paddys death- he lit up the village every christmas and I will cherish those childhood memories forever - RIP love to all the family.

Paddy was a very special gentleman. His face just lit up when he stopped for a chat and you couldn't help but smile talking to him. He was much loved by young and old and was the heart and soul of Prosperous. We always looked forward to "Paddy's Lights" at Christmas particularly after the school plays when the children could go into the garden for a lolly. He made such good memories for so many of us.

He was a gentleman, an entertainer and a born comedian. I have fond and everlasting memories of Paddy's visits to our house in times past. He always lifted our spirits with his jokes, his sense of humour and stories of his childhood days growing up in Blackwood.
