He was one of life`s gentlemen and it was an absolute pleasure to have known Paddy for many a year in the Tower Leisure Centre .
He was gentle , soft spoken and a great man to tell a story , i enjoyed many a chat and craic with him .

My sympathy and best wishes to Paddy's family. Paddy was extraordinary but gave no hint of it. He was a part time member of our coffee morning group. He liked walking and would be absent on that account. A technically very clever man who gave me some great ideas for my teaching. An interesting conversationalist, too. I wish he hadn't liked walking so much.
