I knew you both in the Department of the Environment back in the 1980s and I always remember him as a lovely man with a great sense of humour. To Noreen, Shane, Roisin and Ciaran, my sincere condolences on the passing of Paddy. I worked with Paddy for many years in the Custom House. He was great to work with and always so kind to his colleagues and willing to help anyone out with advice. He also had a great mischievous side and was full of fun. His love and dedication to his family was always so evident and he would often tell us about Roisin’s art, Shane’s soccer skills and Ciaran’s talent for music. May he rest in peace.
