So sorry to hear of the death of my former neighbour and good friend in Meadow Grove, Paddy. I have great memories of wide ranging conversations about golf, football and hurling and, of course, music! I enjoyed listening to his accordion playing on many Sunday mornings across the road. Paddy was one of the first residents of Meadow Grove. When we came to live there not everyone had a car and if you were fortunate enough to be leaving your house the same time as Paddy you were guaranteed a lift. His was warm and outgoing personality stayed with him all his life and it was a pleasure to have known and met him.
