It's with great sadness l'm sending my sincere and heartfelt condolences to all the Townley family. Paddy was a lovely man who would give as much respect to the living as he did to our dead. He was so charming, funny and kind to every one, especially at their very difficult and sad time of a loss in the family. He had such an amazing presence about him when he entered a room. We joked that we didn't want to make eye contact with him or chat for too long as he would be sizing us up for a coffin.

He added humour to a time of sadness but never over stepped the mark and he explained that it was okay to be sad and it's also okay to be able to share stories and laugh too.

No request was ever too big, you asked and he did. Paddy will live on forever in his children and grandchildren and his name will never be forgotten, it will be spoken daily. A wonderful family service is available and offered to all who need it, they have the planning down to a fine art.

I will never forget the kindness shown to us on the loss of our parents, Jim and Kaline Murray. Not many people could do this job but it's a family run business and the Townley family just get it. What a legacy to leave behind. May Paddys gentle soul rest in peace.
