We are deeply saddened and shocked at the sudden death of our dear friend Paddy. Our hearts and prayers go out to Angela, Jay, Demi, Ellie, The Doherty and Mitchell. Paddy was a loving, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend to all of us who knew him. A strong, quiet, patient and unassuming gentleman who gave freely his time, energy and skills to his community. He will be sorely missed by us all. May he rest in peace.

I am very, very sorry for your grief..I also have just lost my dear father who was only 66. It really comforts me to know that our heavenly Father is close to us at this sad time: "Praised be the God and Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials" (2 Corinthians 1:3,4). Pour out your heart before him and you will feel comfort and ease. Give oportunity to our God to strengthen you by means of his Word. It says about the special event - resurrection. Apostle Paul in Acts 24:15 says: "And I have hope toward God ... that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous". There is nothing impossible for our God and he "cannot lie" as it says in Titus 1:2! Please be sure sure that you will see your dear father and husband again healthy and happy right here on earth. More scriptures that tells us about resurrection and time when it will occurs you can read on jw.
