It has been many years since I last saw Padraic, but I have never forgotten his energy, kindness, sense of humour and joie de vivre. It is almost unbelievable that a man so fully alive can be taken so prematurely. May all who loved him find solace in their many happy memories

DEVISTATED TO HEAR THIS TRAGIC NEWS!!-It is rare to meet a teacher and a gentleman that took a genuine interest in you and your child with so much feeling and interest long after they have left his classroom.I met him many times after she left school and he had this wonderful capacity to remember her name 25 years later ask how she was doing and how all the family were doing. You knew when you spoke to him that it was you and only you that mattered at that moment in time. His other love was The G.a.a. and I met him at the All Ireland Final last year and had another wonderful chat with him about the Dubs.Condolences to his family at this terrible time. Ni fheicimid a leithead arais.!!
