I wish to extend my heartfelt sympathy to the family of Padraic on his sad passing having only come to know about it from reading the Newsletter at Mass in Ballinasloe this morning. I especially liked him for making great efforts a couple of years ago to look me up and give me a school photo from our time together in the Tech in Ballinasloe 1956-1960. Of course I often meant to return the favour by visiting him in Killarney but due do my depression of 15 years which thankfully has now left me, I never got to do it. God rest his Soul, Amen

Una, Olivia, and Karol, sincere sympathies on the passing of your Dad. Uncle Padraic was a great person to connect with family and friends all around the world and we will remember him making the effort to come to our wedding in Trinidad and visiting us in Sydney. He was also a great host anytime anyone visited him in Killarney, taking out old photos and reminiscing on great memories. Cecile fondly remembers him as the only person who ever called her Mrs. Finnerty (with a glint in his eye) and also for taking up the role as the Finnerty patriarch after our Dad Michael passed away.
