The 'Mallow Twomeys' - Fiodna, Cillian, Aongus & Aifric - are so sorry to learn of Padraic's death, and so soon after that of his beloved Ann and brother Lorcan.

We have many happy memories, from our early childhood, of the Hassett Cousins (Padraic, Colm and Eoin, in particular) visiting our home in the sugar factory. We wondered if we could ever be as 'big' as our Celbridge cousins (yes, including Padraic!). Our parents loved these visits too.

Padraic was always up to some 'divilment' and tricks reflecting his impish sense of humour. We all loved him.

Our deepest sympathies, on their sad loss, to Padraic's immediate family - Niall, Conor, Cormac, Bobby and their families. And also to our cousins Colm, Eoin, Tadhg, Niamh, Éimir and Ciarán.

So very saddened to hear that P has passed away, he was a true gentleman and always up for the craic!. I hold many fond and fun memories from my time working in Hassett’s, and P was certainly part of that. Even in the years past, we would often share a joke and chat when meeting in the village. Always a glint and a grin is how you’ll be remembered 🥰. Rest in peace P, you surely were one of the great ones. Always up for the craic he sought out fun everywhere he went.He added so much to our wedding when he donned his chauffeurs hat to drive the bride to the church in his car. He was delighted to discover some people thought he was an actual chauffeur. His enthusiasm was perfect for all the great fundraising he did over the years. Sadly missed.
