I only heard about Padraig's death yesterday. Im so so shocked and saddened to hear this news. He was such a lovely man. We had many a teabreak together in SDCC. Condolence to his wife, family and friends. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

I just remembered that after school time I assisted him to bring him in a queue waiting for the red bus at 4 pm. we took a bus to depart to Navan but I was dropped in Dunboyne Meath.

Pádraig was so exemplary no words can express how much he was admired by us and so many others. His warmth and care to all the family and others was truly remarkable. His good humour and joy for life was boundless. He was proud of his vintage car and he treated it like a baby. His culinary & baking skills, his gardening skills, his DIY skills and above all his kindness skills were just amazing. Pádraig was always so generous with his time that he was an example to all who knew him. He was always there for his Mam (Maura), doing her gardening, maintaining her flowers, wallpapering and painting her house. He was a true family man who loved life with Adrienne, Darren & Lauren and for this they loved him too.

Like in the Beatles song “All you need is Love”. Well Pádraig you had it and gave it in abundance but now that you have left us you are missed and will continue to be missed.

A packed St Mary's church just tells you of how many people's lives he touched up the years and the love was felt by all who attended.
