Dear Aine and Peter, I was so sorry to hear of Uncle Padraic’s passing. I know he had a long illness, but mercifully, he’s at peace now. My husband,John, had gotten to meet him once whilst home in Ireland for my brother, Matt’s, wedding and remembered him fondly as the life of the party. I remember as a child, his visits meant lots of jokes, funny stories, long drives in the car listening to Irish ballads and most vivid, is his gift of a cute stuffed monkey with ridiculously long arms. It’s funny the things we remember about family. Please know that you are all very much in our thoughts during this sad time.
