My sincere condolences to the family of Padraig on his untimely passing. I played football with him with Galway GFC Philadelphia in the 90s. He was a great team-mate and player but more importantly a great fun presence around our team. I thought of him in past few weeks when both our counties qualified for the All Ireland final and would have loved to meet up with him at the final. I will think of him on Sunday. Padraig was my boss in Powerscreen in late 90's on my 1st job. I was devastated when I heard he had passed. He was a true gentleman, never got angry, always had time to ask how I was and have a chat. The culture in Powerscreen at that time was tough and course but Padraig always had a way with him to make it all easier with his laugh and soft nature. Sleep well Padraig sorry I didnt get a chance to catchup before you on old times.
