Padraig (Paudie) Tangney

To all the Tangney family, I was so sorry to hear of Pádraig's death, I met him at Dad's when he was last home and he spoke fondly of his younger days in Ballyseedy. I hope your good memories help you through the tough days somewhat.

He was the first Irishman I met when I landed in Canada 40yrs ago & have been good friends ever since, we never lost touch. I have very fond memories and lots of good time together, sadly missed.

I offer my sincere condolences to Patrick's family and friends. I was lucky enough to work along side Patrick for the last decade or so. I saw him almost everyday and we became close friends. It is very different without him around the office and I miss him a lot. I am grateful for the time I got spend with him. Rest in peace buddy, I will never forget you.

Sincere sympathy to all the Tangney family on the sad news of Paudie's passing. I have great memories of Paudie as we started school together in Moyderwell in 1954. He sent me a class photo a few years ago from 1955. We went on to the CBS in Edward St, Fairies Cross & The Green. It was great to have met him in person in 2018 at the Class of 1968 Reunion.
He will be sadly missed - RIP.

Very sorry to learn of Paudies passing, Last met him in 2018 at the 50th anniversary of the '68 Leaving Cert class. I recall then absolutely no change in his personality in that period of time he was still vibrant witty, humorous. My sympathies to his sisters and brothers
