To Sally, Pádraig and the rest of the Ó Ríordáin family, deepest condolences on the passing of Pádraig. He and Sally were great friends of my late parents, Sean and Mary as well as being a great colleague of my father in DCS. You did him proud with such a beautiful mass and he has left a rich legacy behind on both a professional and personal level.

Sincere sympathy to Sally, Maria and the entire family on the passing of Pádraig. I knew Pádraig as a fellow Principal, as a parent and as Chairperson of the Board of Management in Coláiste an Spioraid Naoimh when I was Principal there. In all the different aspects of education where I encountered Pádraig, he was an absolute gentleman, always willing to help, advise and support in whatever way was required. In particular, as Chairperson of the Board of Management, Pádraig was inspirational to me and other members of the Board. He displayed wonderful patience and wisdom along with an unparalleled understanding of educational matters.
I feel privileged to have known and worked with Pádraig and I know that his family feel deep sadness at his passing but I very much hope that they will also feel great pride in knowing that Pádraig enriched the lives of so many of us who knew him.
