My deepest sympathy to the Linnane family on the death of Pakie. I had the privilege of meeting Pakie in his home a good few years ago now. He had retired from driving the bus at that stage. The welcome we received along with the wonderful hospitality said everything. He had a great memory and great sense of humour. He was an absolute gentleman and the best of everything Irish. He will be greatly missed. It is sad to see that beautiful photo of Pakie. It captures everything about him. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal.
