Pam will always be known as Brown Owl to me and everyone who had the good fortune to have her as their Brownie leader. She had a great sense of humour, was girl-focussed and was kind. She inspired a number of her former Brownies into leadership roles, including continuing her beloved Raheny Brownies. She was so actively engaged in helping so many organisations including Poppy Appeal and knitting hats for premature babies as well as managing the parish accounts. A wonderful woman, she will be missed! Love and condolences to her family.
Our deepest condolences to Pamela's family and friends. Pamela was a trail blazer of a volunteer Leader and a wonderful colleague to IGG staff in national office. She always did everything to the highest standard, was so kind and thoughtful and was a role model of guiding to her core. Her decades of dedication as a Leader, organising the annual IGG Gaiety panto, being a Brown Owl and running a longstanding Brownies unit, being on the committee of the National Memorial cottage and generally organising events and activities had a phenomenal impact on Leaders and youth members alike. She will be remembered and her memory and legacy lives on in our hearts and deeds. 'Gone home'
An amazing lady, friend and Brown Owl to so many … she will be hugely missed by everyone… her enthusiasm and energetic personality made her one in a million 💗
Aunty Pamela, we have so many great memories to treasure. Lots of fun and a 'good laugh'to be had, you were always interested in everyones news. Such a lovely sister in law and friend to mum. Now reunited with Uncle Ken. RIP
Auntie Pamela when we reflect on your memory we can only smile.
Your ability to reduce us to tears of laughter by simply saying “ your man” and “ahhh jeeez”, and how will we forget the “ grand tour of Dublins public toilets”.
Now you are reunited with Uncle Ken may your laughter ring eternal.

With deepest sympathy on your loss. Pamela was a special friend of our mother Sylvia, they worked together and often spoke of the dances and places they’d been.
Pamela had a special gift in running the
Brownies in Raheny. My memories of how kind, understanding and gifted she was in managing the group and creating lovely memories for so many of us are still with me. Thinking of all who loved and cared for her.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Pamela, I remember her as a fantastic organiser of the IGG pantos, always so calm, a smile on her face and a friendly word in the mist of 1,200 excited kids. She had boundless energy which had a ripple effect on the kids attending. She was truly an amazing person who gave so much to the Brownies and Guides in her unit. R.I.P.

Jimmy I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Pamela. We go back a long way. Played tennis together in Clontarf Parish, went to the popular hops on a Saturday night and was your bridesmaid 56 years ago. She was a great friend. Ann.
Dear Jimmy,
What an extraordinary woman you had for so long. Straight, honest, reliable, kind, funny and always thinking of others. The last few years have been very tough on you both and there is no doubt that you looked out for her every day throughout her illness. My daughter and I adored her and will miss her terribly at St John’s.
