I am so deeply saddened and shocked to learn of Pamela’s passing. We met in DLR where we set up the badminton club (when we were turned away from another club) and remained friends when I left 17 years ago. She was my go to pal for exhibition visits and tennis chats as well as a memorable trip to Paris. A kind, fun, wonderful friend and I will remember her with the greatest of affection. She adored becoming a grandmother. My heartfelt condolences to her loved ones.

I would like to pass on my condolences to Pamela's family. Pamela was a breath of fresh air in Dlrcoco and was an incredible person highly thought off by her council colleagues. She left a great legacy in our county. RIP

My 1st dealings with Pamela go back to 1995-'99 on restoration / conservation projects she had worked on. l had the pleasure in her reunion when she became a work colleague in later years. She was a talented & knowledgeable Architect that left her mark in our communities on various buildings she had worked on for the enjoyment of all. She was always pleasant & generous with her time that she gave to others. She be sadly missed. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.

My deepest sympathy to John Alex and Geoff and to the extended family on the very sudden and very sad passing of Pamela. I knew her for about 3 years whilst working in DLR. She always had time and a smile for everyone and she was so interesting to chat to. The crowds of people at the funeral service today showed the impact Pamela had on all who met her. Pamela looks exactly the same as I remember her from Muckross days, when I was in Susan's class. I remember a lovely afternoon in Vergemount in that warm friendly family house. Deepest sympathies on your loss to Susan and all the family.

I first met Pamela as a young architect when she was working in her Dad’s architectural practice. She was always the consummate professional; incredibly accomplished, visually perceptive and spatially astute. I went on to work for her in her own practice for many years.

I will miss her encyclopaedic knowledge of architecture and visual arts, but I will especially miss her as a kind, wise and valued friend with a wonderful sense of humour.

She will be remembered with great affection by myself and my family, Bernadette, Noel, Carol and Jill.

My deepest condolences to John, Alex, Geoff and the extended Kennedy and O'Connor families. Pamela was such a warm and generous person and I know my late mother, Beth, was very fond of her. She was always such a bright and cheerful presence at family events over the years. May she rest in peace.

I met Pamela a number of times over the years via a mutual friend Andree she was always so happy and very kind and will be sadly missed I am sure by all who knew her

My mother and Pamela’s mother were sisters from a large family. They were close in age,very different people, but with an incredible bond that many of “The Ryan Cousins” were privileged to grow up around.
One huge light that always shone bright for her sunny and willing ways, was our cousin Pamela.
She will be very much missed,but the light she shone will endure.

The Kilkenny Song Competition. Pamela was one of the group and we all went to Kilkenny with Barney (Sr Barnabas) as supporters. When we returned we were all invited to
Vergemount by a very welcoming
Mr & Mrs Kennedy, where we celebrated until the early hours. I came
home as the milkman was making his rounds but once I said to my father
“Barney was with us and The Girls came 3rd” …all was ok.
