Paschal Hedderman

Sympathy to Sheila, Finbarr, and Fiona. I have lots of good memories of Paschal through swimming. I mostly learned about his values through time spent with Colin growing up, who was a natural leader that carried himself with humility, and never missed an opportunity to craic a joke or take the initiative. They brought me to mens waterpolo once but it was too hardcore!

Sincere sympathy to all the Hedderman family on the sad passing of Paschal. I was one of his class mates in the North Mon in the late sixties and early seventies. It was always a pleasure to be in his company. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

I was one of the 30 or so students in his Leaving Cert class in the North Mon in 1971.
Paschal was well known in the school for his prowess in Swimming and Water Polo.

My thoughts are with you at this sad time - I am so very sorry for your loss. I have so many fond memories of Paschal teasing us on swimming trips and early morning training sessions, rolling his eyes at the escapades the boys got up to, alongside years of whiskey toddies, waterpolo balls and chats at Myrtleville beach on Christmas Day, and more recently introducing my little ones to him at catchups when home in Cork. He was so full of life and laughter and funny stories - Paschal will be greatly missed… but also live long in our memories.

I wish I could have been there for his final send-off.

Big hugs, and will raise a glass to Paschal too.
