Sincere condolences to Marie, Eukaria, Emmanuel and the wider family on the sad death of your beloved Paschal, RIP.. (Sorry, but I only heard this yesterday)

Apart from their wonderful, funny shows, I got to know Paschal and Tom personally when I 'worked' in the Mary Street area, as the duo spent a lot of time there, plotting and planning their forthcoming performances etc.. They were two outstanding, decent, friendly people, who, sadly, I never met again after I left Limerick in 1969. They were a credit, not just to their native county, but to their country.

I've just learned from a previous msg that Tom has also gone to 'slí na fírinne'. RIP.. No doubt, there will be funny times in Heaven.

Paschal brought glamour to St. Mary's Terrace, Ballinacurra Road. Growing up two doors away, I often described where I lived by saying 'near Paschal, as in Tom & Paschal' . Knowing you had been on stage in far flung places like New York & London was amazing to me. Always smiling and so good to my parents. Rest in peace lovely man. Condolences to Marie, Emmanuel & Eukaria. To his grandchildren who would have been so lucky to have the funniest Grandad ever!

Very saddened by the news of Paschal’s death. Sincere sympathy to his wife and children, to Colette and to the wider family. Memories reach back almost seventy years, to my boyhood in Limerick, when Paschal and Tom ( and a group of artists - singers, dancers, ventriloquists - including my late sister Áine) brought entertainment shows to audiences in the Limerick hinterland and beyond. Paschal’s unique timing and stage presence ( very much in the tradition of the mime and comic artists of continental Europe) was superb. May his soul rest in peace. Trócaire ar a anam.

I was so sorry to hear that Paschal had passed away, and I hope he is reuinted with his old pal, Tom, in Heaven.
I was in several of the Chrstmas Crackers Shows with Tom and Paschal over the late 60s and eary 70s and it was a privelege to be part of their wonderful success. They were both very talented and far ahead of ther years, but it was good, clean fun and most of their shows were SOLD OUT.
I have seen Paschal and Marie in recent years, particulary at the wedding of Eukaria and Tim, and more recently with their beloved son, young Tim,

Paschal was a talent ahead of his time, but remaiined a most caring and loving person and I was so happy to have played a little part in hs wonderful successful career.

I remember Paschal from my early childhood at Christmas shows in the city theatre where he made adults and children laugh aloud. Later I was privileged to sing along with him in the choir of St.Michael's church in Barrington street where he was a parishioner.
Paschal was a Limerick Legend.
