It doesn't seem possible that Pat could be gone from us. He was so energetic, so positive, so full of the joys of life, with a smile for everybody. Meeting him always brightened up the day. My sincere sympathy to all his family, thinking especially of my old friend, Noreen.

We have a long connection with the Barry family going back almost 65 years when I first met Mick Barry when I was a young guard in Bishopstown and he came down the street on his motorbike and welcomed me to the area and that friendship has lasted down through the years . I have great memories of Pat, Michael, Sean, Noreen, Kathleen and Ann and no doubt Pats children will miss him greatly so soon after the passing of their mother
