Very saddened to hear of the passing of Pat. He was an absolute gentleman and I am delighted to have known him. His infectious enthusiasm for pool and encouraging it was something to behold.
He will be sadly missed but I know if there isn't a pool competition in heaven there will be soon enough.

I roomed with Pat for a week in the cancer ward in WRH. We instantly became great friends and remained in touch. I am gutted, such a wonderful gentle, genuine person who could only give to you everything he had. The stories he told me had me in the knots and were such a tonic to me during my illness. Pat gave me 3 books he knew I would love to read, the deal was he would call in for a cuppa on his way back from Fermoy to collect. Sadly not to be. My heartfelt sympathy to all of his family and his legion of friends. Legend, may God bless you.
