I only heard this morning that Pat passed away over the summer. My deepest sympathy to all his family. He was an absolute gentleman and I always enjoyed his annual visit to my home in Balheary, Swords. May he rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of Pat' passing. What a lovely man. He was a wonderful, silent Kildare GAA Supporter. I was introduced to him in St. Conlets park when the Great Micko came to manage Kildare. I was Chairman of Kildare Supporters club & attended most of the training sessions. I said to my Vice chairman P. J Whelan " has Micko co opted Pat Cronly to his backroom team as Pat never missed a training session. A true Kildare GAA Man.
