My heart is broken by the tragic news of Pat's passing. What a heavy burden for Julie, Andrea, and Adam, and all of the extended family. It is also a sad time for the community and many friends. Pat will be missed by so many people in different walks of life. I will miss him as a friend and colleague at Connemara Community Radio. Pat was truly a gentleman, he always greeted you with a lovely smile on his face and was up for the banter. It is hard to imagine a Renvyle night out, a local birthday party or a wedding without the notorious and talented DJ Pat Fiddler. Renvyle will never be the same again.

It’s with utter heartbreak and disbelief that this has happened, 💔 💔💔 one moment planning the big roundy party we were all so looking forward to, the next such a cruel blow, such a devastating and profound loss, and so soon after your Dad Julie, no doubt though they’re catching up and there’s lots of little DIY jobs needing doing beyond the pearly gates to keep Fiddler occupied.
He was at the heart of every family function from christenings & weddings to funerals and every milestone birthday party, from the good old days of The Den to Clifden House to Sammons/The Anglers and everywhere beyond and in between. 🎶🎵
Always had a smile, a twinkle in his eye, quick wit, and full of the craic and devilment with a nickname for everyone.
We will miss you Fiddler, may the good times and memories bring your family comfort at this extremely difficult time, and may the sod rest lightly on you.

You couldnt meet anyone as organised and easy going as Pat Coyne. I'm sure the St. Patrick's Day parade was high on his agenda to make it a memorable day as always, in Tullycross. I was glad to help out Pat on one such day in the past and met him many times since. He was always so welcoming.
His Family and friends have lost a pillar in the Tullycross Community.

Such a devastating loss to the whole community.. Pat played the soundtrack to all of our families big life events. He was warm, welcoming, kind, always great craic and one of life’s true gentlemen.
