Pat Fletcher

I’m very sorry to hear of the passing of Pat. He was a joy to know. I send my heartfelt condolences to Stephen, Elaine & Colin. Our family was lucky enough to have moved next door to the Fletcher’s when I was 11 years old. Pat & Pearl were the most welcoming of neighbors & always the most generous hosts. I became best friends with Stephen & hung out with Elaine & Ruth. They even trusted me to ’babysit’. I have great memories of Cricket matches at Mount Murray & long, event filled day trips visiting clubs all over the country. Lots of formative life events & happy memories. I just learned today from Charlie that Pat died. What a lovely person and a great rugby follower. It was alwas a joy to watch the matches in Cons with Pat and Francis and whatever family members popped in. Rest well fella
